Alright, TittySmoke, I guess I wasn't clear enough regarding my car and my fuel situation. Perhaps the moderator could put this thread out of its misery before Ho-bitch7 sees this and farts up something more stupid than what you just did.

Why run anything but pump gas at 16psi? I ran 19psi on my 1/2 bridge on 89 octane with no water injection for 6 months. I have a friend that runs 30 psi on 96 octane pump gas with water injection(crazy ******). Damn! I never thought I'd meet anyone more paranoid then me. ****! Dragon was running 23 psi on pump gas and water injection with the T70. Another car running 21 psi on 96 with no water injection. There is a lot to be said for good tuning.

Thanks, that's what I need to know. We're having Steve Kan coming here to New Orleans to do some street tuning to our PFCs and Haltechs and whatever else the guys are using. It apparently will involve 10 runs to 8000 RPM in 4th gear. I'd love to be able to get away w/ not having to sweeten the pot to utilize maximum turbo output unless I want to do that.

You don't need anything over 100 oct. which is the highest oct raiting there is..Yes I know they have 110 and 115 ect but anything over 100 is a % over 100 examp 110 is 1% over or is it 10% can't really remember but it don't matter much when it applies to street cars we don't run enough static compression to need anymore than 100 even at 10-20 psi. and once you get much over 100 the fuels wont stay mixed very well or very long. and easy way to make higher oct. is to add toluliene (is that spelled right?) you can get that at a paint supply store. now the ratio is something you need to figure out. Reguardless the point once you go over a certain performance rating (which anything over 100 is rated at) you begin to lose ability to detonate it. Oh yes my point 100 oct. is fine.

I reccomend you ask Steve Kan what fuel you should use, since he is the one doing the tuning. I personally believe that you should only run the same gas you tuned the car to. I also believe in water injection.

Agreed. Run 1 kind of fuel and stick with it.

Running 100 all the time could get real expensive. I'm gonna agree with Igy. Run pump 93 octane with water injection. Thats my plan

Yeah, the more octane the harder it is to burn. The highest pump octane here is Shell VPower at 94.

Back in May when my car was dyno'd to 16 psi and 402WHP, I was advised to run 40% avgas for a safety margin. This is on a 2mm stockport engine (3mm streetport will be going in sometime soon). I'll not worry too much more about it and let S.K. work his magic.

The attached fuel flow modification diagram is supposed to supply fuel to the secondaries more directly and readily than stock.

To the Australians - I regret being miffed at y'all and I apologize.

They wanted you to run 40% avgas at only 16 psi? DAMN
