What 02 sensor?

Thats interesting, wonder why it changed so dramatically in a year? I've never actually seen "off the dyno" numbers comparing day vs night air/fuel ratios....good info!!
Yeah that guy Kyle probably saw your car and started conversation. He told me he met this guy Jim who had a supra that had all this stuff done to it and had (what is it like 800rwhp or something crazy). Then I said " Jim Swantko?", and he said yep thats him, how did you know? Haha :P

Its just you. Their not useless, 4 wire is better than the stock 1 wire for accuracy purposes. Really the only way is to use a wideband to dial it in perfectly. Stock sensors can give you a good idea where your at, especially if you've already used a wideband and have an idea what numbers you should be seeing from the stock 02 sensor.

[quote name='94touring' date='Sep 21 2002, 03:34 PM']Yeah I wouldn't spend 1k on a wideband either. I took my car to the dyno and used theirs for a fraction of the price.
I can understand not wanting to spend the money on a wideband... but take it from someone who has had one all of 2 weeks. It's AMAZING how much you A/Fs change from day to night.... not to mention from summer to winter.
It only takes a few hours on a dyno to pay for one.
I love my FJO... I honestly think that if you have a single turbo and not a wideband you're playing Russian roulette...

Where did you get yours? I was thinking about getting one.

A wideband should last just as long as a regular O2 sensor. I am running an FJO which has the heater circuitry. If it's not heated then it doesn't laast long. But I know guys that have been running them for over a year with no issues. The heat keeps the deposits off the sensor and within it's proper operating temps.
I think the difference between summer and fall has to due with temp and hunidity. In the summer there is lots of water in the air and the air molecules aren't as dense. In the fall it's cool (more density) and drier (more dense yet).
Yes this was with my Supra.
I got mine from Sound Performance who buys them from Steve Hayes... I can get you his e-mail if interested.

Check it out here

What's cool is you have the display right in your car so you always know exactly what A/F you're running. I have mine mounted right next to my tach. You can order green or red display.
I'll get you Steve's e-mail address tomorrow... I don't have it at home.
