The Bosch 4 wire sensor is pretty good. It's about $50-60.

Its just you. Their not useless, 4 wire is better than the stock 1 wire for accuracy purposes. Really the only way is to use a wideband to dial it in perfectly. Stock sensors can give you a good idea where your at, especially if you've already used a wideband and have an idea what numbers you should be seeing from the stock 02 sensor.

Yeah I wouldn't spend 1k on a wideband either. I took my car to the dyno and used theirs for a fraction of the price.

Guys,

I can understand not wanting to spend the money on a wideband... but take it from someone who has had one all of 2 weeks. It's AMAZING how much you A/Fs change from day to night.... not to mention from summer to winter.

It only takes a few hours on a dyno to pay for one.

I love my FJO... I honestly think that if you have a single turbo and not a wideband you're playing Russian roulette...

Hey Jim, nice to see you here. I know a guy named Kyle that goes to school up there that said he met you, small world. Anyways, what kind of differences have you seen depending on ambiant temps?

I'm everywhere! hahaha

Kyle huh? Doesn't ring a bell... hmmmm

As for changes in A/F ... in the evenings I can see it change .6-.7 vs the daytime. If you're tuned on the edge... be very careful.

I can tell you last year my car was tuned to 11.7 in the summer. I went back in October... same settings... it was at 13.1. I've wanted an FJO ever since that day.
