Thanks, that is the ferry in Edmonds (in case you couldn't tell). No, not a member of RROW. I'm not a big fan of RROW, don't know how old you are, but RROW is a much older crowd. I'm 23, I just don't think that I'd be into the same stuff. Plus their meetings are way down south.

Hi Ilovemy88cabrio,

I'm probable older than the crowd at rotary rockets. I'm 56 going on 16! Some things you never outgrow, "Fast cars n' faster women!" By the way I've worked on that boat thats in your picture at Edmonds. Rotary rockets does have a dyno day and I'm really interested to see what my car has after putting it togather for over two years.

I use it as does Ray Lochead and Demetrios K.....(Reactive racing)....It works very well. It hold boost better than the Profec B and doesn't spike either.

Hey Vosko, there is a big difference between a pressure reguator and a needle valve. Needle valves aren't any better than the stock pill. Pressure valves use a ball and spring design and drastically decrease spoolup time over needle valves. I don't have any trouble with my pressure valve spiking.

I like the idea of the dual stage boost controller but I think it is too expensive for what it is. It's just two pressure valves controlled by an electrical switch. I may look into making my own. I'm sure I could do it for much less than $200.

Ernie, I don't think this boost controller compensates for boost increase in higher gears. My pressure valve gives me a couple of more pounds in 5th gear than in does in 2nd and 3rd. I don't see how this controller differs from a standard pressure valve. I assume the Profec A/B corrects for boost in different gears but I'm not sure. Since you have used both, can you share your experiences with us?
