Does anyone out there know anything about Military truck turbos and if they can be used on an FD. Reason is, that i can get a free brand new turbo from a GM 42 deuce and a half or a MV 35 truck ( I beleive the turbos are models 1C or 1D ) and just wanna know if It would be worth putting on an FD. The turbo doesnt look monstrous, smaller than a Greddy T78 but not by much and I can get a custom made manifold for it.

Thanks

You are gonna need two fabricate a manifold and get a wastegate that will work.

I know exactly what you are talking about. The flanges for those turbo's are standard T4 flanges and the turbo's are made by Garrett. They have a NICE size exhaust housing, and approximately a t-78 front size.
