Well after installing four new 720cc injectors, along with a new 255lph fuel prump, going over all the va lines with a fine tooth comb and generally looking over whole engine, checking connections, nuts, lines, getting an acorn out from by the linkages for the throttle, new coolant line, rewired some connections and still no improvement.

well kinda, it started up and idled nice and smooth for a couple minutes but it was at like 2,000rpms, then as it wasrmed up it started to do the revving thing again.

dammit, i'm gonna take it to a mechanic and then hatemyself when he tells me it was a ground or something stupid. Any last words o advice.

We'll see, though i doubt it, as iyt turn out, looking through records from previous owner, when the engine was replaced, so were all of the vauum lines, I looked over as many as I could when the upper intake manifold was off, I don't know though, hopefully it s a vauum leak.

Anyway,s as soon as I save the mony for the repair bill I will get it in the shop and see what caused this.

Thanks for the input, I'll be sure to let you guys know what is was.

the bouncing is exactly what it soudns like when the TPS is mis-adjusted, how did you test it to be "within spec" there are 3 seperate ways to test it with some being far more accurate then others.

hell for ***** and giggles just turn the tps adjustment screw and see if it changes at all, ive had them misadjust themselves while driving before, not too uncommon especially with a 20 year old spring maintaining pressure on that bolt. never assume that after 1 test and setting of a 20 year old electrical component that it is absolutely fine. did you do a full sweep test?
