Jim,

I have 3 or 4 k&n's of various size. I am not saying I dont want to use one, because if i could i would. But for a k&n to fit it is going to have to be super small.

Small air filters = bad flow. According to ted screens flow bad, but this is contrary to what i have seen in pratice so...

I'm just exploring my options

post a pic of your setup so that we know what area you have to work with.

You should see what a turbo impeller looks like after 500 miles with no filter on it. Its a throwaway.

Have you thought about a setup like mine. Pipe to an air box maybe.

Or 2 pipes with filters on the end. They could go in different directions.

here..

Sorry for the shitty pic i need to go take more.

The thing is, The rear turbo will be ok, but the bottom one doesent have much room before it hits the Rad.

And if you havent already figured this out, the car will be mainly used for drag racing with limited street use.

Apex, where they driving in the dirt or something?

Since you have a couple big daddy turbo's in there, I'm not so sure I'd worry about the screen interupting airflow on the bottom turbo. Looks like you'd almost have to relocate a portion of the radiator hose to fit anything other than a screen on the bottom turbo.

Where are you driving, gravel pits? I have been running filterless with the same turbine for two years and have had no problem, and that is without a belly pan. You just have to keep in mid you don't have a filter. If you are on a gravel road or something of the sort, don't be going 80mph.

I think I am going to do the screens after talking to a few people. I just dont have space for anything else as you can see.

The car is going to be driven at the track mostly with a little street use just for playing. Mabye when I have the rest of the important things sorted out I will look into doing a filter.
