To find the correct restrictor you should start with a large one and keep going down in size until it stops smoking then you are done.
The fitting/restrictor pictured on that ATP site looks to be a 45deg flare fitting when you should have a 37deg fitting. I wonder if they know what they are selling. 45deg is for gas lines while the 37deg is the "AN" stuff.

Mazda uses a 19mm (3/4") return line on its singles which is the equivalent of an AN 12 line, N=X/16 or(1/4"= AN 4, 1/2"=AN 8, 5/8"=AN10). AN fittings can be smaller than these hoses and stay away from 90 deg fittings.
I use a .044" restrictor with a 100 mesh finger screen. You wouldn't want a small particle stopping the flow. My housing is water cooled. Garrett might want more oil for cooling on non-H2O centers.

Go to a hardware store and get parts to make your own. It's not hard at all as long as you have drill bits this small. You drill/tap the fitting that is going into the turbo for a socket head pipe plug of appropriate size ( I have a 1/16" pipe plug in my banjo bolt). Then grab a hand full of socket head pipe plugs and drill to various sizes. Start large, say .100". Put the .100" in and if the turbo still leaks oil then put a .090" and so on. Stop when the turbo quits leaking oil, you have found the correct restrictor for your application.
I don't know of any place that makes the fix all restrictor for any turbo. I'm suprised there isn't a business that makes a adjustable restrictor.

if it smokes its too big, if the turbo siezes its too small
to actually really figure this out, you would have to know the flow and pressure the turbo likes to see and then test the engine to see what it puts out, then restrict appropriately

can too much oil **** a turbo up? lets say you have a to4r and it smokes at startup, and sometimes when you suddenly give it gas.
curious cuz my turbo has about .5mm-1mm play and i've never had a restrictor, just a -4an line.

I just finished my to4r installation. I used 3-AN inlet and 12-AN drain. No restrictors nothing. I have a high pressure by pass relief valve installed onthe rear plate. It start to relief pressure at 127psi.
So 3 AN seemed appropriate.
