What did you guys do with your stock solonoid rack? I was going to just hack most of it off and keep just enough to mount the coils and have the charcoal cannister fuel line still in place. Anyone have any input? Is there something better?

i ripped it out. no need for it. lol i looked at it as weight reduction. the stuff doesnt really move around by not having the extra mounts.

I suppose zip ties would do the job.

I'm pretty sure the coils need to be mounted securely so that they are grounded. Zip ties might not cut it.

I did the "Hack" method dave. better than zipties, and it's not going to weigh the car down. Like Justin said, having a good ground to the coil is a really good idea!

Well I had planned on that in the first place. There is the one small 8mm ground wire there. I already have my rack hacked up for the non-sequential. I was just going to hack off the tiny bit left and leave the one hole for the large 12mm to mount the coil bunch to.

I was not really going to zip tie it.
