Stock Coil Spring Question

I need some help guys. I have a 93base and before I bought it it was "lowered" ghetto style by cutting the springs. Here's the part I need help with. I bought a set of stock 94R2 springs and I want to verify which springs go in the front and which in the rear. Each of the springs has a paint dot on it, two red two purple. I can't find any reference to this in the shop manual and I want to make sure I get the right spring on the right end of the car! If the paint codes don't help answer the question, then which end gets the taller springs, front or rear?

never realized one side was taller than the other.. if this is the case

i can tell ya that the spring rates are the same for both ends..

the front is normally taller while the rear is normal shorter and more "squatted"...at least that's how the truck springs i've messed with have gone.

Thanks guys. I did finally find the spring information in the technical specs section of the service manual. It helps when you look in the right place. ;-} It states that the rear springs should have a "free length" of 11.93 with a purple paint mark, and that the fronts should be 10.63 with a red paint mark. These specs are for a '94 manual tranny. I was looking in the '93 section and it states 10.74 and blue in the front and 11.77 and white in the rear.
