i have a 80 sa with a racing beat intake manifold |
Ok i can see no problem. However if you could post a photo of engine bay showing manifold and side of engine it would help , as cars in NZ are right hand drive. If you are interested you can send a cheque by mail (best) or paypal. If for some unforeseen reason manifold does not fit , you can send it back and you will be refunded in full. Manifold and freight to US will cost $680 US. You can Email me on ganderson@xtra.co.nz

I also make TO4 manifolds to suit fc or fd for the same price 2.8mm wall 51mm id and smooth taper to 48mm TO4 flange , for a bit extra can be made from 2205 grade stainless steel .

heres a photo of the fd3s t3 manifold. Its been on the car for almost 2 years no problems. Reason its off is i'm doing a little porting on the engine for owner.

but isnt that 304 ss? since it rusts over when heated?
just a query nothing else.... my down pipe rusted over as in the pic^^ and i was told that the 304 ss does that.... i stand to be corrected |
double post
|
Yes 304 can get slight rust appearance or tea staining , however that manifold just has discoloration from heat which seems to affect the mill finish more than polished finish. Even with a bit of tea staining 304 will not flake like steel. If 2205 stainless is used there would be no chance of tea staining .

2205 will cost an eye tto get though! i think as much as inconell... or close enough
|
Yea the bends cost almost 3 x as much . We use a bit for marine exhaust droppers , it lasts well compared to 304 , 316 , 321 which corrode in heat affected areas.
