Spark Plugs !
#11
i bought the thin spark socket from racing beat. i am gonna go with judge ito's recommendations. he hasn't pointed me wrong yet. to save $100 is not worth it to risk damaging my $6000 engine .............
judge ito told me the problem with non rotary plugs is that the porcelain can crack and the plug will fall apart and damage the engine!

From what I understand the B*EGV plugs last about 5000 miles or so before they need to be changed, swapping them out every other oil change (~4000 miles for me) seems like a good idea. What do you do Stephen? It sure would be cheap insurance since they are so inexpensive.

I've never heard anything bad about EGV plugs like the tips falling off. As a matter of fact they were recommended by Chris Anderson (Chrispeed) and Rice Racing among others. They both use them in thier customers cars.

My local old time speed shop will sell BUR9EQ's for $12.75 CDN. I have to buy a box of 10.
They also will get me the racing plugs for $45 CDN. Luckily I can buy them individually.
That's $8.66 and $30.57 for you south of the border types.
