why did you leave the runners so long on the intake manifold?

I just want to know your reasoning behind the way you designed it, looks neat.

also, what kind of steering rack is that?

You're welcome. It is very different from the regular FD manifold. Good luck on the car though and making cover.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I was hoping for some good feedback.

The manual rack is a Flaming River Pinto piece. It's sooooo light and turns super easy. It took a little fab work to get it in but it was well worth it.

The manifold is pretty much the same one we do for the Supras....just shrunk down and changed a little. The runners were kept long to try and add some torque and maybe broaden the band a little. I don't want it to be super peaky although for drag racing it doesn't matter all that much. I'll be staying about 6500 and above the whole way down the track since the stall converter won't let it drop out of it's power.....or so i hope.

I don't think i mentioned that the car is converted to a TH350 with a transbrake. I'm shooting for the fastest street Rx7 and to be more competitive with the Supra's. Being that we have the fastest no nitrous Supra in the world with hopes of being the fastest street Supra period....that won't be that easy of a task.

Here's a shot of the auto from underneath the car. Can't really see all that much but oh well.....

You can see a little bit of my new ARC radiator...i love that part!

Looks great. Plenum looks big enough for sure. How are you going to hook the throttle body up?
