Installed a bigger spring. Plus it was touching the downpipe so I wanted to grind the cover down a little so it doesn't touch anymore. I think its touching was cooking it. The diaphram did not look too good.

One of the downfalls of squezing that engine into my car. But so worth it.

Yeah I said the same thing "i'll never sell the car". But when money is short and there are priorities that need attention a decision has to be made. Hopefully you will never be in that position. The day I get another FD will not come soon enough. Its kinda like selling your dick sorta speak. Jim, why don't you buy my FD and skip the cooper for now?

Wife is Pregnant with second child due Sept. 10th. (same week as the National Autocross runoffs in topeka dammit!! should have planned this better) My RX-7 is my toy it sits in the garage and waits patiently for me to take it out and beat it. My daily driver is my Dodge Dakota Quad cab. My wifes daily driver is a pretty trick Mustang GT Vert. After the baby wife is taking the Truck (big and safe) and I am getting the CooperS. The Mustang is for sale. There is no room in the Mustang for a baby seat so it will not work for my wife if I need to take the truck. (like when I trailer my RX-7 to Autocrosses) The CopperS has a nice interior. I had a 6'2" salesman in the back seat behind me when I test drove one we all had plenty of room. So I will daily drive the Cooper and on those occasions when I need the truck I know my wife will not have a problem fitting a car seat.

Honestly I love the FD's but I like my TII better. When you see an FD you KNOW you are in trouble. An FC you think you have a chance. Unless you happen to encounter mine.

I know a lot of really cool FD owners but I also know a lot that think their poop does not stink because they have the more expensive car. Kinda like a Corvette owner they all seem to be stuck up. I am a down and dirty kind of guy. So I like the image my FC gives. I hope I dont **** anyone off I dont mean to.
