Thumbs up

Thinking about puting a turbo on my 84, does anyone know about how much I'd be looking at for all the parts? would it be cheaper to drop a T2 engine in? would it be wise sicne it would still be a daily driven vehicle.

You could do a Blow-thru setup for a kit.You could build on yourself or buy a nice used one.I see them on the parts trader alot.prolly cheaper to buy the kit then upgrade if need be.Guru has one for sale in the parts for sale forum.the T2 swap is not very cheap but EFI is nice in colder climates.

well, I'm in SW FL, so cold weather is not here but maybe once a year and thats never more than a week.

Thanks for the info, if I can find one for cheap I'm gonna do it. my other car is really messing up. so I have to get my tags and insurance ASAP incase it does die so I have another car.

even weather is not a concern, the blow through still is a better set up then draw through. (usually)

i know one good advantage of draw through tho... hehe, huge flames
