What are the traits of a good road racing set up and which turbos have them? Just Curious!

you need response over ultimate hp. you need the throttle to balance the car in the corners

Oh, so what turbos are good for this? I asked the same thing on the "other forum" and they recommended the RX6 and GT35/40. What about the T78/T66?

T78 and T-66 would be too big. They lack the response the rx6 and gt35/40 have. If you went custum something like a 60-1 or 62-1 with a .7 compressor and .84 exhaust would give you a quick spooling turbo with decent top end.

I agree. T-04S with a small exhaust housing(.84~) would net you plenty of spool up and horsepower for a road race.

What about a BB Turbonetics T3/T4? Who makes the 60-1, anyways? Thanks!

A t3 is too small, go with a t4 based turbo. Garret makes 60-1.
