Is there any danger or drawback of welding the wastegate venting pipe into the DP? Noise is killing me whenever the wastegate opens...... I know you enjoy it a lot, Vosko

Thanks

What kind of boost control problem will I run into? Is this problem depends on what kind of of boost controller I use (I have Profec B)? I actually got this idea from SR Motorsport http://www.srmotorsports.com/sr93trbo.html with their Apexi RX6 kits. I have the same kit and the problem with this BB turbo kit is that it reaches full boost at 4k and the wastegate opens all the way up. I am sure you can imagine how annoying that is. Any suggestion?

Get a good boost controller and you'll be fine.

Is Greddy Profec B a good enough solution? If this has impact on my boost settings, then I might have to get the car re-tuned. Please advise.

the profec should be fine, but i like the boost and tuning functions of the avc-r better. i have used both, not on a single turbo granted, but feel the avc-r is much more suited for fine tuning your boost.....

Why not run a seperate exhaust off it to the exhaust after where the cat is supposed to be?I hear thats a good way to reduce noise. Then you don't have to cut up your DP either.
