it's a blow through system the gas runs thru the turbo it a ray jay setup p3 turbo same thing as garret it's old school setup there was one at nopi runnin 10's but easy to blow up to and it goin to be hard to compress air into carb but it's a bad setup i got it for 800.00 sweet have done alot of work to it got a pic of it when i bought it look bad :rice:
I am surprised no one has said anything. What you described is a draw through set up. The carb pulls the air in and mixes it with fuel, then it goes into the turbo, compressed, and into the engine.
Blow through is exactly that, it blows through. Air goes into the turbo, then through an intercooler, and then through a carburetor hat and into the carb. You will need to boost prep the carburetor, things like removing and sealing the choke, filling the floats or getting brass floats, etc.
Blow through has better response and higher levels of achieveable HP, but draw through is much easier to make. Old school.
