there is still a lot to do on the car.
I need to wire the wideband,
get and install the touchscreen dash
i need to do EGT bung(s)
I need to weld in the bung for the o2
make a bracket for the alt,
wire the waterpump
um, tighten up some looseends but its gettin there!
this is what I need to do. My fabricator has been dealing with an irate customer that is taking all of his time because he (the customer) fucked up the car and is in denial about it. the dousche is taking all of MY fab time! **********

Dash
http://www.powertraincontrolsolution...ontent-21.html
It plugs right into the tecIIIr. Can do fuel level and any other input, can datalog and control boost. Touchscreen. I'm going to make a pannel out of CF and fit it into the stock dash. I will just push the old gauges back into the pannel so I can keep an odometer on the car...

Well, I have been out of town for a week, and much progress has been made.
the torque arm and trans mount are completley finished. They look ******* amazing. I tried to get some pics but kayo had just dropped the car so mabye next time.
The Driveshaft that I have doesent fit. Unless I am dislexic and cant read a tape, it was an inch and 3/4 too short. Looks like i'm going to have to get another one made, gives me a good excuse to go AL. They are cheep anyways, only around 300 bucks and change.
The downpipe now fits perfectly. The flex bellow was added to the downpipe and both flanges line up correctly. The rest of the exhaust fits perfectly.
The waterpump is attached to the radiator. He was working on the alternator mount today. As soon as that is done I can make the water lines. The belt for the rad is going to go inbetween the inlet and outlet lines on the flange, so I have to wait and see exactly how things are going to be routed.
I have a few more wires to attach, but that is basically done. I still need to wire in the wideband, but that only takes a few min.
Now the really shitty part. The fittings that came in were the wrong size. I dont know why this is being such a bitch, but kayo said he has something that will work (and has had it in stock the whole time)
The return lines are completley done, the flanges with -10 weld on bungs are complete.
One of kayo's employees suprised me and glassed the broken parts of my front end for free. (thank you paul!) I tore a chunk out rolling it off dee's trailer one day, you can never tell it was taken off. He also fixed some cracks and damage that occured during shipping. The body man is going to have to do a little finishing work getting everything perfect, but it is looking pretty good allready compared to 90% of the front ends ive seen on FD's. He also adjusted the lenght of the external shift rods on the trans so it shifts correctly
Every day it is coming closer and closer to completion. My goal to have it running and tuned is ernie's BBQ. That is in a little less then 2 weeks from today. I think at this point I can make it.
I should have taken some pics of the engine bay, it is REALLY shaping up well.
mabye some pics tomorrow if i have time to slide down to the shop.
