50 psi static? Damn....in that case, you think I should bump my fuel pressure up?

At any rate, I think there's a hole in my wastegate line because I just boosted 1.5 Bar...**** my pants too...didn't worry about the stains because there were already stains on them from the 62-1.

BTW Nocab and Dragon, what fuel pump, size lines, and base fuel pressure are you guys running???

Damn, 850/1600 at 100% even with a low fuel pressure should support close to 600rwhp. You still running that GT35/40??? I didnt think it was supposed to make over 500ish rwhp.....or did you get a new turbo???

Thanks,

STEPHEN
My problems with 100% duty cycles were back with stock lines and a single pump...part of it was the denso pump I had, falling on it's face too...

So the setup now is 4 x 1600 with dual Indy Car car fuel pumps sourced though TrueChoice, AN - 8 feed, Y'd before the rails down to AN -6, then fed AN -6 into the FPR, and returning via AN - 8. Badog's design and implementation, still working out a few bugs, but it has been slow as I've been on the road 25 days a month since Apr.

I haven't been on the dyno lately, but according to the Blitz Powermeter , 550rwhp is easy with about 21psi, 600rwhp isn't far off, and that is without any of the GT35/40 upgrades I hear Aspec is working on...

Got to the dyno today and I think I have succeded in breaking a new part.. @ 1.7 kgcm boost the engine went to **** at around 7k or so.. I was dataloging the whole time and it never went lean and had no knock at all... From the nice clunky sound the engine is making it would apear I broke the front stationary gear or completly lost the front bearing.. What sucks is I'm going to Hawii Friday, so it'll have to wait till next week to get pulled and tore down... It's going to be like opening a present wondering what's inside.. The suspense is killing me...

You know what I think is funny... that the people that have rebulit there own eng's have a much more postive attitude when they blow up! It is expected if you are pushing them hard, one of the joys of the RX7 Then upgrade on what you already had, the cycle never end............ OH WELL
