As long as the topic is up about n20, how do those intercooler fogger kits work? is the n20 shot into the intercooler or just cools the air on the intercooler? im kindof interested in that for the stock intercooler

I have been researching the same thing. We are looking into a dry system for my car the the intercooler level to cool down the air and make better numbers.

You will also get the additional power of the NOS cooling the intake charge.

i would suggest going to 1600cc injectors. when you shoot the N2O your going to raise the boost.......

There is an easier way to compensate for the extra boost.

Jet the gas side of your nozzle a few pills bigger you'll be spraying a little rich but... It will even out when your turbo goes nuts over the increased airflow and the denser charge.

I used to run a 50 shot wet in my TII. It would add 75 HP to the wheels. If it was tuned properly and I used really cold plugs (11's) I would have seen 100 RWHP from a 50 shot. My only problem was the fact thet my stock Series 4 Turbo was hitting over 15 lbs of boost while spraying. That in itself wasn't the big problem. The big problem was my fuel cut defender. It let the ECU cut the fuel at any point over 12.5 lbs. It seems the Racing Beat one only works up to 12 lbs once you go over that you car hits fuel cut.

I was running my rear rotor on N2O and gas from the NOS. There was no fuel from the injector. I did not feel the fuel cut because the rear rotor was getting fuel just a really lean mixture. I ended up damaging my rear apex seals.I am still driving the car but have since removed the NOS. I have no self control and would still use it if it was in.

I thankfully didn't toast the rear rotor just weakened it a little. I have 60-80 LBs of compression in the rear rotor and over 100 in the front.

I am getting ready to install a complete FD engine in my TII and I am planning on using the new Haltech to control it. I will then re-install the NOS and keep it jetted at 50 HP. I love it!

hmmm, sounds kinda cool. i might try it. Would it be safe to use on the stock intercooler, if i set the WG to lets say 10-12#'s? like a 50wetshot?

Ive also been thinking of using a nos system on my project...most of the 7's that you read about like the one from rx7.com they are using 50-75 shots..but use a wet system safer

I would not hurt to wire in an independent fuel pump for the NOS. That is my plan with when I swap in the FD engine. Your fuel pump is working hard enough it doesn't need a spike from the NOS.

sounds a little complicated, im sure my walrbo and 1600cc sec and haltech could handle it...
