Kick *** numbers. Only thing I found odd was how Dave let off early. If your motor is ported, you should be making power well into the 8000rpm range regardless of turbo. As for your ignition, I would stick with the stock coils for now. The digital 6 is a good choice. I've got one.

You could convert your car and get it running in a weekend, week tops.

You mean the convertible? If I had a few more parts I could get it running over the weekend. The 91 can be done pretty quickly. First I want to see if my turbo and manifold will actually fit.
