I'm looking for the discharge diameter of the GRedd Type R wastegate. I've welded the discharge tube back into the downpipe and to facilitate removal/installation, I'd like to stick a small Vband in there. I can't get a set of calipers in around the tube to measure it without removing lots of stuff. Anyone have an idea? Naturally I called GReddy and they were of zero use. Guy states 50mm. I ask "how sure are you?" "Not at all" was the reply. F*cking idiot. From the sound of his voice, sounded like the same jerk who said the T78's discharge diameter was guess what, 50mm.



Anyway, if anyone has any idea the size, I'd greatly appreciate the information. I need to order a Vband in time for Friday. Thanks in advance.

 

I'm almost certain it's a 52mm, but I won't be sure until I jack the car up. I'll be doing that sometime within the next 24 hrs to put on Dragon's tranny brace so we can get pics up.
