I was pretty happy that the car made 474rwhp at 19.5psi of boost. We stopped because we were seeing 97% duty cycle on 550cc pri and 1600cc sec. I think the fuel pump is maxed out.

I think it could make 500rwhp but the restriction will be the dp since I estimated that the 3" dp is only good for around 500rwhp. The only way to gain more is to put a 3.5" exhaust system. 550-600rwhp is durable with a larger turbo. Honestly, the turbo has to size properly for the supported power but manifold is the key in making good hp as well. I made try to put a plain GT4082 turbo in our manifold and see what dyno #'s we can get out of it.

Very nice dyno. Looks good, keep it up.

Got any pics of the manifold or can you describe what makes it unique without exposing "sensitive" design data? Equal length, short runner, capacity for a flanged wastegate (ala recent Ecotec race built motor/turbo combos), etc? Thanks Steve.

Edit: Gee, you could have made over 17% more RWHP if you would have put it on a Mustang Dyno and used the locally established correction factors. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/wacko.png

Looks nice Steve. Good numbers.

we only made 2 manifold for the stage 2. One for this customer and the other is in my red car. My red car has the thumper T88 in it. I guess I can take pics of it in the car?? As far as the design goes, it uses dual tial 38mm wastegate vent to atmosphere and individual runners going into a divided turbine housing. The turbo isn't any special. It's a standard off the shelf T66 that we put in for testing. I have a turbo that I plan to use which should spool a little faster but we couldn't get it in time for his car. Other than that, I think that's about it.

Similar to this except his is set up for twin wastegates. This one is for sale.

How much are these kits?

17% more?? Who's dyno is that? That's sounds way too much to be right, if I use the #'s I made and add 17%, that equates to around 550rwhp.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/ohmy.png

Also, on a side note, you can estimate how much boost the person is running based on the torque it generates. If someone posted a dyno sheet that makes 400rwtq and says they're only running 14psi, you can tell right away that they're lying since it takes approximately 22psi to make 400rwtq.

8-10psi is generally around 250-270rwtq

12psi is generally around 290rwtq

15psi is generally around 320rwtq

17psi is generally around 330-350rwtq

20psi is generally around 370-380rwtq
