Just tuned a customer's car today and got some dyno #'s on our stage 2 turbo kit (not exactly). The only difference is the dp. Our kit coms with the 3.5" dp whereas his was a 3". Anyways, here're the dyno charts. All these #'s were done on race gas since we street tuned it before decided to goto the dyno. The a/f ratio was extremely rich (10.3:1) at 8psi, 14psi and 17psi due to higher specific gravity but i didn't want to lean it out since it was tuned for pump gas already.

that turbo looks like it has a very very nice smooth power band....... what turbo would you guys say this is comparable to?
|
It's a standard T-series turbo (non-ball bearing). I designed the manifold to peak torque at 6500rpm. I was suprised that the calculations actually matches real #'s.

T 66?

Nice numbers and curve. Congrats. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

what kind of ports is that car using?
|
the car has a stage 2 street port from us. The customer is on its way back to memphis, I'll tell him to post on what he thinks of our turbo kit later.

Nice, Steve. How much more you think you could have squeezed out running closer to 11AFR for the race gas? How effective do you think that turbo would be at even higher boost? Got a compressor map? Got milk? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

I was pretty happy that the car made 474rwhp at 19.5psi of boost. We stopped because we were seeing 97% duty cycle on 550cc pri and 1600cc sec. I think the fuel pump is maxed out.
