Keep us updated Michel. I'd like to see what this turbo can do. I'd like to know when it reachs 15 psi(say in 3rd gear)...not that "lag" matters since my turbo reaches 15 psi at 5000 rpms

This is getting frostrating. All I want is a turbo that I can make 500whp and that I can drive around with. Thats all.!!

LOL. I don't want to have to boost the hell out of the turbo to get it up there but I want POWER!!!. So help me guys, help me find a reliable turbo that I can drive with in traffic and that I can make big hp!!!

Proven simple big power thats good for the street....T-78. Any turbo capable of 500rwhp on a 2 rotor with stock to street ports is going to have to be boosted higher than 15psi.

If you're talking flywheel hp, the T04S, Axpexi RX6, GT35/40 and all the bigger turbos will get you that number and provide good street driveability. All are reliable if installed and tuned correctly.

For 500 rear wheel hp on pump, it isn't going to happen. If 400 to 435rwhp isn't enough and you need a 50-60hp bump relatively safely, you'll need a good street port and a good engine build along with a T78, GT40, GT40R, T04R, etc....

As I said before, If I were you, I would go for the A-Spec GT35/40. You're buying what is essentially the latest/greatest in compressor and turbine design and not 50's technology. The T04S kits can be had for less and are great street turbos with readily available parts for replacement and many, many different trim levels to choose from.

I am not expecting to 500whp on pump gas, but want to know that my car can achieve the number bhp when tuned for it. I was looking at the precision turbo too. The pt-67 qtrim turbo. Any takes on this. For around 1000us it's a great bargain. And i'm going to a streetport. I mean, getting 500 hp isn't hard with the rotarys...as long as proper tuning is in the equation.

The pt67, TO4R, and the gt35/40 all share the same exact compressor section.

They're all using Garrett GT series wheels? When I talked to Precision on Friday, they did not give me that impression. They DO use the GT turbine wheels (signified by the GT-Q) designation. They also have several modified versions of the GT40 plain bearing turbo. They use custom turbine housings, smaller than the GT40's .94. Guess boingers don't like the bigger a/r's.

Here's a description of a "Buick" turbo for the PT67:

Comes with T04S Compressor Cover - 4" Inlet and 2.5" Outlet, 67mm 63 trim GT comp wheel, 76 P trim turbine wheel, .63 or .85 A/R.

For low 10 second applications, 3500 minimum stall required.

These turbo's require a specific wastegate actuator for true bolt-on compatability, sold seperately.

Supports up to 795 hp at the flywheel.

Price : $1050.00

The Garrett catalog doesn't list inducer diameters just exducer. None of the GT40 compressors seem to match up trim wise though. Not sure if these companies are "throwing around" the GT designation?

SO what u think then rx7tt95? DO you think that precision has anything that can make me that power? So the gt35r or gt35/40r can't make me 500whp then? How come?

Well they could make it at the flywheel but a more realistic and "safe" number for daily driving would be high 300's to low 400's on pump gas at 16psi at the rear wheels.

Honestly, I am in the same dilemma as you right now (well, something similar). I have a single turbo system with a turbo going bad. I ordered a GT40R BB turbo from A-Spec but unfortunately, it's not going to arrive as soon as I need it. So I am going with a plain bearing GT40. I would have even considered the 35/40 but it would require a new manifold due to the T3 style inlet. Precision knows their stuff and they build great turbos but I haven't talked to a single person there that knows rotary motors and their turbo requirements.
