Here are a few pics...
The car has already dynoed 447@14psi. All the fabrication was done in house at my shop. Fuel System http://2stroke.cyberosity.com/Spec'X&#.../Fuel%20System/ More manifold pics http://2stroke.cyberosity.com/Spec'X&#...nifold/Updated/ |
OH sweet as HELL!!! I cant wait to see your car in person and get that baby on dyno/track
You just want me to get you your manifold quickly https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
wow!!!! what kinda power are you putting down to the ground
Using the HKS cast manifold it was 447@14psi. Could not boost more due to an intake manifold leak. Hoping to dyno again soon with around 22-23 psi.

Nice fab work- I've never seen a single with that setup-
I think i need to change my pants https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blush.png
Haha
Thanks... |
I wonder how that 90deg bend in the downpipe will work out for you. Looks sweet though; always nice to see different ideas.
Yeah I am curious to see too.
Any reasoning behind putting the turbo in front of the motor?
yup. I wanted long runners and a completly divided manifold. The runners are equal length within and 1/8". This was just a bit easier to do and I wanted to try something new.
Looks great im interested in a manifold
You have a PM on the other forum |
I'll check it
is the dp as close to that brake line as it looks? that might be bad, otherwise its neat!
No not that close
Do you have solid engine mounts? I wonder if your dp will smack the passenger strut tower wall when it moves.
Yes i use solid metal mounts.
well thats a neat way to package it, it leaves you tons of room for an air filter, more room for the manifold/wg piping, etc. i dont really see any minuses to putting the turbo there either https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
i hope it works! |
Yeah. I think so it will work.

SOB, do you have a link to a page where each pic is less than 1.4meg per picture? Maybe 100k? It's taking me all day to take a peak at your manifold! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
The filter before your fuel pump, is it a 100 micron mesh filter or a 10 micron filter? I hope it's the 100micron.
I found smaller pic's of your manifold.
Looks like you went the same route I did with mine, ss 304l butt weld fittings. Get them from mcmaster carr? Is that 2"sch 10 pipe? Looks good! Oh yeah, that's a HUGE freakin intercooler! No sleeper there! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png ok... I'm done for now.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |

Can't use stock position for radiator, and he had to cut part of the frame..
I wanted good quality pictures. That is why I did not re-size.
I am running twin filters 10 and 100 |
Why did you choose to run the fuel cell?
Simple....
I wanted to get rid of my 15 year old dirty tank. Save some weight and wanted to run a large inline pump using SS braided lines. |

You don't have to enclose it. Just need something between you and the tank.
My tank is mounted using the factory mounting points, we made brakets to fit it. The only cutting done to the car was a smalle hole for filling the gas... |
thats pretty cool..
Has anyone ever made a manifold so the inlet faces straight up (north), then the exhaust side would face south????....It would also make the IC tube from the turbo to the IC a cool straight shot..... just a thought |

I swear I read in the nrha rule book that if the fuel cell has to be enclosed even if its under the car? I didn't understand that and still don't, but if thats not the case, my stock gas tank is already out https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
Here is another update pic on my car |
