Things seem to be going good lately and this is the most pleased I've been with my car in awhile so I'll post some pics of the laste couple mods...(finally got hold of a nicer camera too)

I love that coating (HPC?)!

exhaust is a black ceramic, compressor housing, intake and UIM/LIM, misc brakets and such are a wrinkle black powder coat...good up to 1000 degree F.

 

Sounds/looks expensive, haha.

 

^not when you do it all yourself, ha! hence the title DIY. Everything from engine build, turbo kit, WI, coatings (except cermic), wiring Haltech, and tuning.

Yeah the ceramic coating was what I was referring to . I'm doing everything on my project by myself as well!

 

wow an fd owner who knows what DIY means, normally thats left for FC and FB owners :O.



hehe, but yea im working on my own as well, everything done myself except for paint and porting.

meh mines not finished yet, if ya wanna see pics of the body getting painted go into interior forum, its "t2 restoration" or whatever, i thikn theres a link in my sig.



i can only give ya pics of individual parts otherwise i wanna finished it before winter, but we shall see.
