Agreed. Try backing them out 25% at 1000RMP and 2000RPM.. Keep playing with them until it smooths. I had to do the SAME thing. I could drink gas from my exhaust..

If you have stock primaries and stock map sensor it should start right up. If you half upgraded map sensor and or upgraded primaries it will not. Do you have the datalogit software if so I can email you a map to get it up and running so you can limp it to me

Dee I do not have a data loggit. I do have upgraded primaries and a GM 3 bar map sensor.

Shot me a call at the house and help a brotha out homey.

"Where did my money go"

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=33742

Then maybe $400 for the hybrid turbo

And like $100 for the down pipe and lets say $100 for the labor of making the welds on it. The manifold did have fitting issues. I had to cut my motor mount heat shield to get have enough clearance.

That puts it at $900.

So $1300 roughly was pocketed by Davinchi to sell me maybe $900 worth of parts. $2200 for a hybrid turbo, a generic 9lpd wastegate, generic manifold, a down pipe, and a oil return line. Money well spent? I doubt it but I guess I am learning a lesson.

Not to mention I didn't get any of the hardware. Seems like less of a good deal than I originally thought. I still dont have have the V band I was owed. I had to buy my own. I have an exhaust leak that is either from the V band or the manifold is already cracked. Also the wastegate does not seem to be able to handle the boost either.

I 'm am considering taking you up on some of that money back you mentioned Justin Actually you guys owe me $100 anyway since I payed for the jet hot coating that I did not get. I never have recived the refund for that yet (fd3boost@comcast.net)-->paypal addy if you need it

Anyway I am not going to rotorfest any more. I am staying home so that Dee can help me get the tunning done and hopefully get this wastegate working properly. I am going to predict thought that I will have to replace the wastegate and possibly the manifold. So right now it's looking like I would have done myself a service by piecing together a kit myself. At least then I would not be buying parts twice and I my car would be working correctly right not and I would be on my way to rotorfest.

C'mon man you gotta go to rotorfest man. Dont let the turbo kit get you down. Starting issue is not as bad as it seems. Secondary injectors do not effect the starting. I have thursday and friday off I will come down and make that ****** run if I have to. Dont let me down homeboy.

No, it starts fine. Dee suggested that I put the stock map sensor back on. I did and it fired right up. I was over at Dees last night tunning it till 10:30 He did most of my fuel map. We couldn't get it to control boost. Also seeing that I have a bad exhaust leak. Still some work with the map to be done. Car still stalled a few times. I think I can fix that myself though. I need to bring the idle up some.I am going to try some new plugs first though. Dee got the idle super smooth though, no fluxuations at all. Just need to control boost, seal the exhaust leak and finish tunning. He said he could do it this weekend and I would rather do that than look at other cars. Sorry man.

Rotorfest is once a year man and Dee from what I can tell wont be going anywhere anytime soon. Have you taken the boost controller off and just ran the spring pressure?

Is your manifold turbo flange flat? A friend of mine had the same problem and that was the cause. I paid $60 to have mine machined flat. It took the machine shop about 30 minutes to do. If you want to save a few bucks you could probably do the same thing with a belt sander.
