Once you heat wrap it, its not so bad. Its just a downpipe, doesn't need to be that good looking.

Its always nice to know that a certin level of craftsmanship has been put into the parts on your car.

It should work fine and I dont think that it would really make a difference but i'm just sayin...

Yeah a few of us wrapped a dp the other day. We starting joking around about polishing it and having it cromed dipped. As long as the flanges line up and it flows good, its a good dp to me, but I can understand where people are coming from too.

Justin I finally got enough free time to put he down pipe back on. It fits. It's still not the greatest fit. The angle on the end is kinda low and makes the union of the mid pipe and the down pipe point downward. I hope that does not create a new exhaust leak. I did not get a chance to fire the car up yet though so no word if it seals well or not. The clamp from Chuck fits very well and I think that it will seal at the turbo. If there are any more problems I will fix them myself. I've got a welder now and been taking classes for a little over a month and I think I can manage. Thanks again for the help getting that fixed man.

I don't even know what to say Dave... I tell you what though, I see no reason why we shouldn't cover shipping back to the shop to get it freaking right. This is now the what... 4th setback?
