Bov Help Needed
#1
Hey guys. I'm hopefully starting modification (extreme) on an FD3S. I've decided to go with a TiAl BOV because I understand that there's almost no sound and that they flow freer than anything else. I was looking at the installation guide on the official site and I noticed the line running to in front of the throttle plate. I've discussed it with a friend who is well learned in the automotive world and we both agree it's probably to "see" the extra pressure build early for quicker valve activation (or something to that effect.) Is this correct? If not, what would it be used for? Also, is this line hard to install? I'll be getting the GReddy 3-Row FMIC that comes with a new elbow, does this come ready-ported? I just need a little help and perhaps pictures of the install would be nice. Thanks guys.

The BOV line goes AFTER the throttle plate. The vacuum created when the throttle is closed sharply helps snap it open. When you're on the throttle that line sees boost, which helps hold it closed.
The wastegate line goes before the throttle plate, not the BOV line.
