Just thought I'd give an update on the SBC-ID III.

Put it in today without too much trouble at all, did have help from a friend who has done one before. Was pretty easy to set up i think we looked at the instructions once just to find out if we needed a constant 12v turns out it's just ignition 12v.

Had it in auto mode with our peak boost setting selected and seemed to come up quite slow and very controlled. After a few hard runs it got alot quicker. Very impressive.

HKS EVC IV or V , learnmode and the external steering wheel boost button!

Launch at low boost wide open then hit the button for max boostin top gears.

The profec b is a good choice for stock turbos with quick response, but it does have a problem with large turbos with lag, the gain has to be overset somewhat to get a boost curve comparable to other controllers, which then leads to overboosting, then if you set the boost lower to put up with the spike from the gain setting, on slow boost up it results in lower than desired boost...

Have to totally agree with Max. I was fighting this exact issue all summer. Even with a 46mm Tial WG, I had to open the WG (SET GAIN) much sooner than expected to prevent spiking. This, of course, hurt my spool up.

I decided to live with a spike instead of slower spool. Shitty comprimise that I'm not happy with.

out of all of those, i'd suggest either the AVC-R or the SBC id..

better solenoids, less failure from what i've seen.

i've been running the HKS EVC Pro (basically EVC IV w/ATM and ATS) for like 4 years rock solid.. (i'd suggest the evc, but you aint lookin at it.. although if you are looking at innovative, why not just get the NLR AMS1000, its a better unit..)

if you really have all sorts of money to spend, then i'd suggest a Pi Sigma System monitoring and telemetry hooked up to a MoTeC or Magneti Marelli
