Best Source For Manifolds ?

NOTE: Manifold may need modification. Construction is good, but seems like it was made for a 2nd gen. Bolts fine but the exhaust housing hits the LIM (BARELY!!) Actually might have been made on a T3 platform... At any rate, you can either make a spacer (1/4 - 3/8") and it will clear or mod the manifold. I cut the flange off and angled it 10 degrees away from the LIM. No fitment issues now. The wastegate flange doesn't really fit well either (not that bad..). With a Wastegate attached, motor in car, the wastegate will hit the firewall. I had an adapter made and no problems.
I'm running a TO4R with 70 on the compresor and .96 on the Exh.
I will have MANY pics tomorrow. At work now.
I paid 150 shipped for the manifold and MAYBE 75 bucks for the wastegate adaptor and the mod to the manifold. I can get a bunch of the manifolds made if needed as well as spacers if you don't want to mod the manifold.
Summary: With a little work, you can have a badass tubular divided manifold for ~200 bones. Or you can go HKS and spend 600.
EDIT** Wait till you guys see my TO4R... BAD MO FO!!!!

Sure thing.
When you see the pics (Later today) you'll notice the work isn't THAT hard... Pretty simple. But I completely understand if you want it right the first time. I was hoping for that... But we all know how that goes! Keep us posted on your progress!

I'm working with the shop.... I'll see what kind of prices I can get them for.
If memory serves, they buy the manifolds and modify them to fit. They work very well, and are MUCH cheaper. I'm busy at work, but give me a day or so and I can get you a price. If you check the 3rd gen specific section, you'll see the thread with my TO4R setup with the modded manifold.
The Wastegate was mounted using an adapter, but I am going to have the flange cut off so I can eliminate all the hardware. (The flange that comes on the manifold fits the old HKS flange, so it's pretty hard to use..
Anyway, in the end you'll spend MUCH less and get the same results. I'm slowly putting together a list of all the shortcuts and whatnot needed...

Sounds good, keep me posted. I'm in need of one ASAP. Thanks.

hey whats up.. i got this manifold for my car.. i got a 6port 87 non turbo gxl. this manifold was NOT made for a second gen. I used a turbo II intake manifold.. and had two use 2 spacers and 3 gaskets.. its been holding up fine.. but i havnt been driving the car with it on there for very long. i got mine for 156 shipped. im using it with a t4 with a compressor a/r of .70 and a rear a/r of 1.00. My friend owns Empire racing here in las vegas and he does custom exhaust manifolds for i think 350..
