Ah, I wasn't aware that the MoTeC you had didn't control boost, I can understand why you would want to get a boost controller instead of the wastegate setup. Any MoTeC unit is $$$$$.

 

No I liked the Profec B a lot. When it worked. It took a dump on me and was not controlling the boost at all. It was all over the place. I thought I was doing something wrong and had 2 different shops look at it. Pettit Racing even messed with it and we finally concluded it **** the bed.



I purchased and installed a Motec Boost solenoid then as I was attempting to wire it up discovered I didn't have an output for it. Thank god the Motec solenoid was only $40.



I will try to learn mode but in all honesty it is holding rock solid at 1 bar right now. I am almost tempted not to screw with it.



As I understand it I can set this sucker to boost different levels at different RPS as well as different levels at different gears. I would like to explore that avenue.
