"I just ordered yesterday a kit for FD3S (after we got an answer from Apexi) with the AX75F92 with P27 hot side.

This turbo has inducer 92mm (T51R-KAI has 94mm) so they are almost the same size, P27 hot side has A/R 1.06 and Apexi claims that the technology used on their bearings Dual Ceramic BB makes their turbos the fastest/smoothest spooling turbos in the market."

Ok, this is a direct cut and paste from the "other forum." Has anyone here heard of this turbo and if so, what do you think? I think it sounds nice. Plus the fact that it's an abraided turbo means that you'll never get better tolerances inside of your housings. Can't wait for the news of this thing to start spreading. By the way, this turbo does run a T4 exhaust side so you don't have the same top end problems as the RX-6A, RX-6B, and the HKS GT35/40.

I love how this guy thinks that it is almost the same size as the T51R Kai just because the major, not the inducer is almost the same size(2mm can be the world on a turbo). I read the post over there and had a good laugh. The guy just really seemed like he didn't know what the hell he was talking about.

IHI is good quality **** from what I have seen, and this turbo actually sounds promising. I am in Japan and I have not seen or heard of this turbo yet. That could be because HKS (Garrett) and Greedy(Mitsubishi) are king over here and Japanese guys don't buy the best, they buy the best name.

Igy, I'd really appreciate it if you could find out if it uses a T3 or T4 flange. I have heard both. Maybe Dragon would know.?. I would think it would be easier for you to find out seeing as you're over there and all. It does sound really promising. I had a good laugh when the post first started. Now I'm waiting to see how it fits up in the engine bay and what kind of numbers he'll put down. It could turn out to be a good thread.

I think the P27 hot side is tiny like the regular rx-6

No, it's supposed to be a T4 flange. That is the advantage to these turbos. The biggest downfall of them is the cost!! This turbo kit for an FD is around $4700 USD. Very expensive, but could be worth it. We're gonna have to find out more.

They used a RX-6B right?

That turbo is great for drift, instant linear power...

i think this kit is what they used on the hypersports FD in hawaii. Its the kit that comes with the watercooled wastegate and all that jazz. I dunno if that car has run or even been tuned yet, but i heard HKS claimed 700hp capable (less for rx7 i'm sure) anyone got a contact for hypersports?

I'm almost dead certain that the T-51R-KAI has a 70mm inducer. The SPL turbo has a 76 mm inducer.
