the local shop just received one of these manifolds yesterday. As previously stated, the quality is pretty good. Two issues I see with this manifold. First, the primaries are 2.5" in diameter, bigger than the GReddy or any other tubular manifold. That'll slow the exhaust gasses down before reaching the turbine. Two, it's designed to take the HKS "standard" wastegate, which I believe, can handle a finite amount of "hp" which may be why they say 400hp on the ebay site.

hey michel, i just ordered one of these manifolds along with a power FC... after i pay that off i'll be looking at getting a turbo, wastegate and downpipe... if your guy is going to make some type of kit that would be awesome... anyway i'll be calling you, cause i'll prob need your help sizing a turbo that will make a decent amount of power but still fit without hitting the frame rail or the intake manny. i'm only looking to make right around the 400 hp mark with a streetable turbo, so i am thinking the standard wastegate will be fine.

Thanks Cheers, looks like is not worth it. I'll stick with my hks undivided cast manifold.

Did you already buy the manifold? If not I have one for sale, $290 including shipping. This is what I paid for it. The ebay guy apparently bought an entire crate of these which is why it's being offered at what is essentially cost. No problem sizing a turbo. Just give me or Compact Cars a call. I've been over there the past few days dropping off manifolds and working on my engine. They've been doing a T78 and motor port on a silver FD that's there. The owner is going all out. If you're in Naples, you should stop by the shop.

i still think that manifold is good... its fully divided.

too bad it hits the lower intake manifodl on the S5 engines. also S4 too

and the Fd lower intake won't bolt to the s5 lower... u can however use the FD upper for the s5 upper intake

you can always get creative. this is how my buddy Ungo is doing his. i know its in a full chasis car, but maybe you can get some ideas. one old idea was to put a spacer between the block and manifold. this was a *better* way to go...

but that space makes a divided manifold into an undivided manifold...
