Getting ready to upgrade to a single turbo in my '94 FD3S. Does anyone Know anything about the Magnus GT42? Leaning towards the T51r but would like some opinions. Want at least 400 rwhp and run low 11's. What would get me in the 10's?

With any single turbo kit, you should get at least 400hp.. at least I would hope so.. I'm wanting to run low 11's too.. I wonder if it can be done with the twins.. I think a T78 (vosko) should get you in the 10's..

I have that. Check page 4 of the single turbo setup thread. What do you want to know?

My engine has been moded by PFS and I have all his upgrades except for his PMC. Everyone I talk to says not to get it. Ineed the Power FC or Electromotive Tech 2. Can I keep the PFS upgrades and still get the performance I want or do I need a diff. setup? I was thinking of letting RotorMotorSports do the work for me. Ever heard of them and are they GOOD?

Just about any single turbo, even the small kits will get you 400rwhp. So going with something as big as the t51r really isn't necessary and is a waste of powerband and turbo effiency. Really to me the best kit for the street with the potential to get into 10's is the gt35/40, and is already proven to make over 450rwhp basically in street trim. A t-78 would easily reach your goals also, but may be overkill depending on how far you want to push the power level of the car. Still a great turbo for the street but slightly less responsive than the gt35/40.

The GT42 can do that @ 25-26 psi. Hasn't been on the dyno above that yet.
