5000 Miles On Twin To4s
#11
i see my post returned from the dead...
my car is now in the barn as winter is upon us in wisconsin. of course that means everything is going to be taken completely apart. i do have a bunch of upgrades for 06.
there were a couple of questions, i run a power fc/datalogit and love it. i run external wastegates operated by an AVC-R. my boost is rock solid within my design parameters, i e up to 17 psi. i haven't run above that but really don't need to as that is 82 pounds per minute at 104,000 turbo rpm.
rest assured that i will be back at you w all the details and a dyno sheet sometime in late april.
oh, yes, i designed and built my system and have 6500 miles on it to date, most of it logged. no exhaust leaks, no cracks etc. i have over 200 maps and 200 logs from 05. i log egts on both rotors, exhaust backpressure and fuel pressure along w the usual other items.
pump gas and maximum torque/hp is my objective.
'can't wait for winter to take a hike.
