like most of us i have been watching Bobby's twins come to life. congratulations to all associated w the project especially Dee.

i thought you might be interested to see my twins project. i designed and built it after seeing kevin wyum's twins in minneapolis,

it first fired during the summer of 03. lots of hurdles remained to clear.

i had initial turbo/vendor problems and worked them out by switching to kevin draper at Majestic/waco tx.

last summer i had engine builder problems (4) that set me back as to testing. i built my own motor this year w BDC ports and Jose LeDuc did my sideseals and gave me some valuable advice. the engine is no longer an issue as it has 5000 miles on it this summer.

almost all the miles logged.

i log exhaust back pressure, fuel pressure and 2 egts preturbo plus all the usual. based on my backpressure i have made two hotside changes and backpressure at one bar is 17 psi.

the turbos are TO4/t3 internally gated and they each make 41 lbs/min at 17 psi. my design objective is pump gas and 17 psi max. road racing is my game but daily driver with more than 500 rwhp is the concept. yes i know it hasn't been done at that boost but that's all w a single. i run two 3 inch downpipes for example, etc.

i have just a bit more tuning to do and will be on the dyno. i will be happy to share when i get the sheet. until then, no more info as there have been a bunch of twins that have disappeared after alot of talk and i won't be one of them... and of course neither is Bobby.i just thought you might be interested in knowing that there is a twin out there running strong.

the concept is a winner.

the view most see of my car...

can you find the second turbo?

Looks good, I like the modified pettit intake

You have similar goals as me, the fact is twin turbos can flow enough air for 500+ on pump gas.

What ECU?

I'll be posting some pics of my 98% completed twin project too , I'm just waiting on my bud to bring over his camera.I went with a pair of garrett GT3071 with T3 hotsides , Pro Jay intake and a semi-peripheral ported motor.

Awesome, Howard. You've come a LONG way in the past few years...some of that is logged too!

Update when possible,

Tony K.

Nice setup. Who made the exhaust manifold? Did you do it yourself? When do you expect the plots to come online.
