Nah, he's wrong. Sometimes I rebuild twice a week.

I was thinking a bit more about what Van said. I'm pretty sure now I'll go with the twin GT30/37 setup. Ito's wild ports should be sufficient to spool em up reasonably, and whatever the ports don't do, I'm positive a 50 shot will take care of.

*dreaming off*
Remember though....GT3037's aren't cheap.

I was looking at Cheapturbo.com's site and they're 1200 each. It'll be a bit more (understatement) then a single, but I'll be happy in the end. I think.

You're looking at atleast $10k for that setup with supporting mods, excluding a new drivetrain everyweek.

Hmm, I was thinking more like 5K. Turbo's are $2,500, a big *** IC core at about 700 including piping, and the rest would suffice for a manifold, dp, fuel, and wastegate? No?

Plus, why would I need a new drivetrain every week LOL? It's not like I'll be making more power then any of the single turbo guys.

umm, yeah you would be more power, not much more power would be like twin GT25s. Piston guys see well over 400-450 hp on this turbo SINGLE. Two of them, although a bit lower output on a rotary is still capable of like 700hp. i really hope that you've considered what **** is going to break with that much power. Its not like you can just build it once and not have to keep putting money into it.

The Turbos on cheapturbos and the ones on the KSP drag car are different.

The Garret listed on cheap turbos is a lot smaller, the ones on the KSP car have the following dimensions

1401-RA107 *General Application* 48T 0.73 T25 Flange External $2695.00

Little more than you think, plus the custom twin manifold, dual wastegates, and the fuel system put you well into the $7000 range for this kit.

The KSP drag car produces 700+ hp on that setup and is in the 9's
