i got a 90 rx7 thats in waay better condition than my 86... the 86 motor is fine but the 90 motor is blown... im puttin the 86 motor (just the block) in the 90 and im gonna use the 90 upper and lower intake... the thing i need to know is... i know the s4 5th and 6th port vavles operate off exhuast backpressure... and i heard that the s5's operate off of the air pump... well im gutting out the air pump... so then they wont work... so should i just use the s4 lower intake and the s5 upper intake???? is that possible? i need to know by this weekend wich is when all this is taking place....

 

there is a way to actuate them a different way..

just for future reference you cant "gut(ting) out the airpump"
