We are almost done with the chassis -hopefully will be completely finished by the end of the week minus paint work.

I ordered a GT42R today from Sean at A-spec. I am very happy with the service I have received from Sean to date. I will post more pictures later this week as things continue to shape up.

might want to consider sticking some of the DEI heat shielding stuff on the back of that new firewall while you can still reach it.

very nice! and it seems to be coming along quickly. too bad you now have to wait on sean i ordered my gt42R kit from sean 2 months ago and have to call and bug them every other day (not kidding) to even get an update. i was told it'd be done by Aug 15, hoping to make 7stock with the car. think i have anything?

Paximus, I'm sorry you've been waiting awhile for your kit. Fortunately for me I got an email from Sean on the 30th stating that the turbo arrived and is ready to ship

I also ordered an HKS 60mm GT II wastegate from A-spec today. It's a very trick looking piece (aside from the color) and hopefully will be big enough so that I can run less than 10psi if I desire to.

Finally, I ordered a stainless steel T6 flange for the turbo manifold that is machine matched to the gasket.

So far I have found A-spec's service to be refreshingly professional, and Sean has given me a lot of good advice along the way on things that aren't directly related to the parts I am purchasing from him.

Quick Update:

The firewall is pretty much done. It took a lot of massaging, but the heater, AC, and blower assembly will fit without modification.

I am waiting for the turbo flange to arrive and then we will build the exhaust manifold/downpipe. Apparently A-spec's supplier didn't make a stainless T6 flange . . .but they do now Anyway, it should be here in a couple of days and then the real fun begins.
