First of all I did some porting the shape just looks wrong. I orderd the racing beat templates to see if I can fix the ports. I tried using the plexi glass and didn't get the results I expected. the rotor didn't turn smoothly and seem to have play in it this was with just the rear plate removed. Do I need to lift up on the E shaft while turning ? It seemed like the apex seals were binding. I'll try again with them removed. Is any body willing to sell templates more aggressive than racing beats ( street or extended )? How much of the corner seal needs to be supported ?

If the side seal is exposed to the port doesn't that expose more than hale of your corner seal ? Thanks for any help I'm going out to see if I can figure any of this out on my own.

If the inner edge is exposing the oil seals then the engine will smoke pretty bad. I have seen some to where a third of the seal was supported. In order for you to get good rotation you need to have the e-shaft in the bearings otherwise the rotor is gonna wobble and not track right.

I may be ok on the oil seal about 1/2 supported. I checked a stock port and the outer edge of the seal came into the port a small amount. AM I correct that I shouldn't be porting in at all? I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. Can I use a turbo template for the center housing? I bought the racing beat street port template ( 6-port )they seemed very small.

Thanks Dave
