A mod that I did on my friend's ...........I used the projector lights from the BMW 7,5,3 series and fitted it to the RX2. It fits in the stock housing (with trimming) but some metal had to be cut from the back of the headlight housing on the car and the metal housing on the RX2 light assembly. I got the idea from a 510 site that publishes "The Dime Quarterly" coupla years ago. The article came out in Summer '98 Volume 2 Issue 2. That way you can upgrage to HID's if you want to.

12A why not 13b? 13's got way more potential and they are easier to find i think plus everyone makes parts for it..my opinion! SWEET RIDE THO!i wish i could find one here in cali /b/c its hella hard getting my car smogged here!Damn emissions regulating bastards!they dont trip about all the Rustangs and other V8's but rotaries are HIGH POLUTERS!!!A**holes!!! well thats not stoping me from having 2!!!

See I can get all 12A parts. Just not a good working 12a motor. There are about 4-8 1st gens that I can take parts from for next to nothing.

My plans for my 73' 4 door Rx-2 is to build a four port 13b using 12a steals and 84-85 GLS-SE 13b housings and rotors. Its a common setup on older 12a to 13b rotary conversions.
