Well,if I sell my Pontiac winter car & my wife's Honda,I could buy a RX8. That would mean my wife would have to drive it to & from work.NAHH...On second thought I would have to adjust the seat & remove all the "Girlie" cds when I want to drive it....I'll just keep play'in the lottery till I can win some cash & get my own.

The RX-8 is our future and it is the sole reason that the Rotary has been reborn you haters of the 8 are shooting down your own phoenix.
the only complaint i have is that If and when they bring back the 7 it should have pop up headlights, every rx-7 ever made had them

I would never classify myself as a yuppie, but I bought the 8 because my wife was worried about me being on the bike so much that it was no longer fun to ride. The 8 was our compromise. I have 2 kids and the back seat was a necessity! Love the 8 and have always loved the 7. Besides, if I start missing the speed, I can always blow the doors off of anything with my 68 Mustang.

rx8 is more of a family car kind of and you can't compare it to the rx7 because its not made to do the same thing.
i will be pissed if the new 7 doenst have popups... i hate that "its an 80s thing" bs. it actually looks good. yeah ok for some cars it doesnt matter but with this car when the lights are down it looks so smooth and beautiful and shaved. when they are up its like they are eyes. it looks amazing. and you can guess i dont like that sleek light junk. some of them are very out of place.

being an 8 owner i had to chime in
rx8 owners complain alot. problem being they are richer folks who bought this car for the looks really knowning nothing about it
personally i dont see anything wrong with this car yet, every car squeaks and makes random noises and as for gas if u cud afford to buy the car new u can afford gas if you cant then u just bought a car thats a little over ur budget, shuda thought about that in advnace.
i bought the car because i really liked the rx7 and cudnt find one in good condition for a decent price, so i decide the rx8 would be teh CLOSEST i could come. I love the car and hope the moding capabilities are there as was/are with the rx7.
as for the next gen rx7 dont hold u breath for flip up lights.. if the corvette could get rid of the flip ups the rx7 WILL! .... it doesnt help that rx7 owners are modding the headlights so they are not flipups but the projecter style.
