I just like rotaries, I don't care what it's in.
Careful, there might be one place you might not like a rotary in...
I like the RX-8, it drives pretty nice, they just need one with a removeable hardtop, that would help me dig the cash out of my billfold and pay for one.
The rx8 is hardly a drag car. It will eat your FC around a racetrack circuit or some mountain twistys however...
I am tired of ppl thinking the 8 is slow because it doenst make the same horsepower figures the turbo rx7s make.....there is so much more to this car than horsepower.
A stock rx8 isn't going to beat me
230 HP / 200 torque at 13 psi
Bilstein Coilovers 400 lb/in spring front and 250 lb/in spring rear
Corner weighted
2999 lbs with driver, full tank of fuel, spare tire and all fluids topped off
FC around any track.
I can show you the lap times at the last solo1 competition for you to compare if you wish.

You guys are right, I think I got a bit outta line there, fingers moving before the brain got into 1st. Consider my *** handed to me.
Still prefer my 8 over my old FD and I still prefer it over ANY FC ive ever seen.
Now Im gonna go clean it again.

I like older cars. No frills, just all business.
When parts were still designed by engineers instead of penny pinchers, and the solution to performance was to lighten the car, not increase HP and increase weight.
I think the current miata will be the last pure car left that is produced in large numbers. Even the new ferraris are getting fat.
The rx8 is nice to drive, but you can feel the weight, they tried to use sway bars to hide it but you can't hide it in accel an cornering speeds at the track. However kudos had to go to teh engineers such that they distrubuted the weight around the rx8s nicely. Too bad they can't slim her down more to say 2500 lbs
if it was 2500 lbs with the original 255 HP engine I'd buy one right this moement.
