Spirit Rs only went for around 4,500,000 yen, which i assume is

around $40,000. Im sure it would be about the same UNLESS

Mazda does it smarter this time. It needs to be cheap to get it

working in the USA, get their money back on parts like they do

now, and that way it will get more mechs knowledge about the

ROTARY..

In a SevenStock thread on another forum, someone said that a Mazda VP announced that the RX-8 would start at $26k and top out at about $30k. So there you go.

Not really, the 350Z and RX-8 are pretty damn good deals.



In the late 80's, an NA RX-7 sold for about $20k. Adjusted for inflation, it's $30k. A TII would be over $35k. Both the Z and the 8 start around $26k, and would totally smoke any FC (stock for stock). Also, they also have more amenities than an FC, like nicer interior, nav systems, etc.
