i know a few salesman for a mazda dealership that say it's going to start at 28 and top at at 32. these numbers sound VERY low to me. (especially the fully loaded model)

Word here is $75-$80000.

FD Rx7 sold at $82000 in 97

We usually get only the top-spec model of niche cars like that.

You're about right there Robbomaz. One of our local Mazda dealers that sponser our club has said 'expect around the$75000au plus mark 'depending on the extras\options they may let us have. I thought that might be too expensive, but the way those new 'Mazda 6's' are selling, people might not have a problem with price.
