Does anyone have any information as to whether the rotory extreme intake is better then the k & n setup? the only difference i see is that the rotory ex comes with a heat sheild but also costs about $60 more. Anyone have the rotory extreme intake . Is it worth the extra money?

I've seen/heard them both and to be honest, they are extremely similar. Only major differenc is the filter element. The R-E should in theory be a little better since it has the heat shield, but from getting in the cars and trying them out, they both felt the same. And they are both way to loud for my tastes.

I have the K&N and it is very nice looking. I also made my own before I got the K&N so to be honest they both are the same to me.
