Looking at buying a RX8
Went down to the local Mazda dealership to see if they had any used 8's, they didnt but they had this one in the back that they were working on that the owner would like to sell.
Car is a 2004 with 67k miles, but had a new engine installed 3 months ago from warranty, but the car still has some issues, need new coil packs, and the power steering has issues at low speeds.
Now for the good part, he was asking 7500 for the car after its fixed, Mazda wants 930 plus tax to fix, Atkins has the same parts that this car need for 305 plus shipping, I talked him down to 4500.
Now my main concern is that I will get the can fix what mazda says is wrong with it and it still will not run correctly, should I steer clear of this car or ****** it up?

Dude, if it's got a clean title, that price is insane. You could replace the whole steering system and still have it cost less than most 8s on the market. That said, the price makes me question what's wrong with it. You get what you pay for...
I have all of the records from Mazda on the car, it needs a sensor in the p/s pump, but the tech told me that is sucks to try and replace, so they usually do the pump its self.
Yes the price is insane, that is why I think Im gonna go ahead and pick it up as long as my FC gets sold.
